Charles P. Mathews, CFA®

Charlie brings more than thirty years’ experience managing assets to Curbstone. He works closely with high-net-worth families, not-for-profit endowments and institutions. His prior experience in senior investment management roles adds depth to our strategy team and research effort. These roles include managing a mutual fund and working with large institutional clients at SouthTrust Asset Management, being the Co-Lead of U.S. Equities at Citizens Wealth Management and introducing an investment process at Bank of NH that saw assets under management grow from $250 million to more than $700 million during his tenure.

A native of Sharon, MA, Charlie is a graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA, earned his MBA at Suffolk University in Boston, MA, and has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA). Currently a resident of Hopkinton, NH, he has been actively engaged in the NH business community for more than 25 years serving on boards and volunteering at various organizations which include the Greater Manchester Red Cross, Hopkinton Rotary Club (Past President), NH Association for the Blind (Past Chair), Hopkinton Town Library Foundation (Past Chair), Concord YMCA Advisory Board, and The Beech Hill School.
